Samsung LM281B+ diodes yield an efficacy of two.1 umol/J. The value has been insanely low, so this it is a wonderful worth providing a lot of photons per greenback! • P1000: ViparSpectra’s entry stage LED is extraordinarily inexpensive. The third celebration report from Gentle Laboratory Inc exhibits PPE of two.2 umol/J. The entire PPF matches the SF1000 ver3! It has a easy dimming knob & a beefy, finned warmth sink. Not as many options because the PB1000 Professional, nevertheless it’s somewhat extra environment friendly. • HYDRA-1000: Atreum Lighting’s new mild is essentially the most environment friendly one out of the road up. third celebration labs again an efficacy declare of two.7 umol/J. HOWEVER: the report was ran at 230V. So the efficacy shall be barely decrease at 120V. To match it to the opposite lights, my PPFD testing suggests a PPE of two.5 at 120V. Regardless, it is nonetheless the chief. The PPF is far increased than the newer SF1000. • XS1000: ViparSpectra’s premium LED is constructed on the identical chassis because the cheaper P1000. Nevertheless it has high quality LM301B diodes & the XLG-150 Imply Nicely driver. PPE is 2.34. Working at 120W the PPF is 284. So it is a premium, possibility & value the additional cash. • SF1000: Spider Farmer bought “upgraded” items for over 3 months with out telling consumers. The diode amount elevated & the structure modified. Nevertheless, they dropped the 301B diodes, regardless that their itemizing marketed “Samsung LM301B”. That is dishonest. I used to be much more upset to see their 100W develop mild solely drawing 91W. This newer LED has LESS output than the sooner mannequin. My very own PPFD readings present this, however so do the third celebration lab studies. The sunshine is not horrible. However I like to recommend the HYDRA-1000 as a substitute! • MF1000: It contains a ribbed warmth sink, daisy chain energy connector & distant management. The reflector hood focuses photons helps to protect eyes when working subsequent to it. Good for non-tent purposes. PPE is 2.25. It is a good mid-end mild. Not essentially the most environment friendly however not too expensive. In the event you’re impressed by the options, it is value it. • TS1000: Mars Hydro’s “1000” LED is a full 150W. So the output is the very best out of the pack (315 umol). PPE is barely 2.2. A superb worth in that dearer premium class! #BestLEDGrowLight #IndoorGrowing #LEDlighting #Horticulture #GrowYourOwn #ArtificialLighting #Albopepper – – – – – – – – – SUPPORT: – – – – – – – – – W E B ➝ https://albopepper.com F B ➝ https://www.fb.com/albopepper I G ➝ https://www.instagram.com/albopepper T E E S ➝ https://store.spreadshirt.com/albopepper/

    1. P1000 is a good little light for the money. You can drop it to 5% making it good for seeds/cuttings. I use up to the end of early veg in a 2×2.

    2. Can you do review of new version of the Maxsisun pb 4000? I’m using one in a 4×4, is this enough for the space?

    3. hey, another thing to consider which may be useful for some people is the maximum ambient operating temps on hot days. i have a viparspectra light i picked up about a year and a half -2 years ago and it has a warning about operating on a 40degree day which is common here in australia in summer.

    4. Have you had a chance to look at the BLOOMSPECT SS line on Amazon? They have the same quality components but are way cheaper. I wonder if it’s too good to be true. I’m shopping around for 4 lights from these Amazon sellers in the 4000 (400W) category. The BLOOMSPECT’S are so cheap ($199 when they came out) you can get 4 SS4000 for under $1k but the ViparSpectra’s XS’s are proven, which are the ones I like.

    5. @Chris Louis bro your rooms way to hot it shouldn’t be nowhere that temp no matter what country your in that’s the point of growing in doors your able to control environment unless your growing outdoors in a greenhouse with supplemental lighting

  2. Hey I love your videos, Would you be able to compare these lights, not based on price, but based on heat output vs wattage?

    1. Thanks for watching & supporting my channel! By selecting the highest PPE, you will be selecting the light that requires the least amount of cooling for the photons generated.

  3. Bloomspect cl1000 for the win. It runs hot next to the giixer but still very manageable

  4. honestly thanks so much for this, went down a rabbit hole of led today, was going to go with the sf1000 but then i saw on their newest version that theyre not even using a meanwell driver but their own brand, what do you think of this? also do you think theyre using fake diodes as well? that picture you put up sure looks like it

  5. Like to thank you for your informative video. For under $260. I should have hydroponic Costoluto Genovese Tomatos growing over the winter (will be first time doing hydroponics). I went with the MF1000 for $80.

  6. what led do i use to replace a 250W hps for cannabis flowering room of 24 sq ft. = 1,5 m x 1,5 m ? if possible under 1000 Euros

  7. A lot of people could learn from this videos format on how to thoroughly present information! Love it! Really helped me dip my feet into the beginner LED world, greatly appreciated!

  8. 😉 Thank you so so much for this. Wish I watched it when it came out, it would’ve saved me from buying some very cheaply made but expensive lights. I bought the Monios-L 60W and yes 60W is way too dim. For just 20 USD more I could have gotten much better lights.
