This has been around for a looooong time. It’s a massive hobby for thousands and thousands of people in the UK. I’ve been comping for over 7years. But not everyone has the motivation, time, effort or creativity to do it unfortunately. Its not an easy thing to win competitions, you really need to put in the graft, and it’s of course never a guarantee you will win competitions. It’s a bit of luck aswell as know-how and time to put into it. There’s more and more people doing comping so it is becoming particularly hard to win anything at the moment. I’m even struggling and I have a lot of knowledge in this hobby. But I have over the years won some good prizes, anything from an ipad, mobile phones, hampers, giftcards, weekend breaks away, meals out, cinema tickets, PS4, guitar, etc. But over the last year barely anything due to how many people are doing comping now, it’s much much harder to win. 😑
Maybe my luck will change in the future!
