Fran is a Chicago-based group led by Maria Jacobson. Do you like Elliott Smith’s “Waltz #2 (XO)”? In fact you do.

So take a look at “Palm Bushes.” It’s not simply the time signature or the drum tone, but in addition the vibe of lovely disappointment and a way of the looming apocalypse.

Jacobson stated, “This vid is my first enterprise taking pictures/modifying – most of it was filmed on tour with Bret Koontz band on the east coast.”
